We are seeking an Operations Lead / Chief of Staff to take a central role in our team. In this high-impact role, you’ll work closely with our founders to drive our mission forward by spearheading key initiatives across operations, business development, sales, customer success, marketing, and fundraising. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow into a leadership position, shaping the future of our company based on your performance.We are looking for someone with a strong ownership mindset and a deep passion for technology and environmental sustainability. This is an in-person role, requiring 3-4 days per week in our San Francisco office (Shack15 or WeWork), where you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to revolutionize the climate tech industry through close collaboration and innovation.Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Work closely with the CEO to conceptualize, develop, and execute strategic initiatives that align with our mission.Cross-functional Operations:

Lead and execute initiatives across operations, business development, sales, customer success, and marketing, ensuring seamless execution and completion of every critical task.Ownership & Problem-Solving:

Take extreme ownership of challenges, driving solutions independently and collaboratively while navigating ambiguity and complexity.Customer Engagement:

Actively engage with customers to gather feedback, synthesizing their needs and shaping our product and company direction.Talent Acquisition & Team Building:

Play a critical role in sourcing, hiring, and onboarding top talent, creating a high-performing team.Qualifications & Experience

Startup Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in early-stage startups (among the first ten team members) and strategy consulting, product management, or finance. Experience in early-stage startups is crucial.Operational Excellence:

Demonstrated ability to execute any task across all business areas and work closely with engineering and design teams to strategically guide product development.Customer-Centric Approach:

Proven experience in finding and engaging directly with potential customers, with a willingness to travel frequently (1-2 times per month).Adaptability & Innovation:

Comfortable navigating uncertainty and rapidly developing innovative solutions that drive our mission forward.
