Access Executive Development Program Overview:
Access is seeking outstanding candidates for its Access Creating Executives Program ("ACE Program"). The position provides hands-on experience and exposure to key operational best practices and tactics of Access' portfolio strategy execution.
Candidates ("ACEs") join the ACE Program as senior team members of an Access portfolio company, directly supporting and reporting to C-Suite executives in key operational functions including Finance, M&A / Strategy, Development and Marketing. ACEs are expected to improve, execute, and document best practices within the key roles, developing a meaningful operational skillset.
ACEs will attend and participate in Access activities, training sessions, and summits with other executives and ACEs across the Access portfolio. ACEs will work with Access to build skillsets, report out to other ACEs, develop playbooks, and train executives where appropriate. They will leverage key learnings across the current and future portfolio, while also driving projects and new investment opportunities.
The portfolio Company and Access will jointly evaluate each ACE's performance; top performers may have the opportunity to progress into other areas of the Access Holdings ecosystem. ACEs will be well-positioned to move into a C-Suite position within one of Access' portfolio companies or on the Access investment team.
Responsibilities:
The Vice President of FP&A ACE will lead financial planning, strategy, budgeting, and forecasting for the Company. This individual will help the organization develop and coordinate the Company's financial planning processes, models, and systems and develop corporate, management, and KPI reporting.
This role will work closely with the CFO, finance team, and business leaders to provide all aspects of financial support for planning, control, and analysis. This will include, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow analysis and other ad-hoc analysis. The analysis and support provided by this individual has the potential to be a major driver in the overall success of the Company's continued growth.
Join as a junior executive within the portfolio Company reporting directly to the CFO
Drive financial planning processes related to budgeting and forecasting, monthly, quarterly, and annual and long-range planning
Create financial models and analyses of financial and operational metrics to evaluate and direct business performance
Partner across finance, operations, marketing, and other groups to drive results
Develop and leverage reporting and process automation tools to help improve productivity in the finance organization
Continuously improve and evolve insights garnered through financial results and KPIs with goal of positively influencing a rapidly growing business
Collaborate with finance and cross-functional partners to scope, launch, and scale new initiatives
Work directly with Access to leverage best practices across other portfolio companies
Attend ACE training, social, and networking events
Qualifications and Characteristics
Passion for developing financial plans and managing resources in a high-growth environment
Outstanding knowledge and understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and financial reporting
ability to manage audit, systems implementation and banking relationships
Exceptional leader with a track record of operational rigor based upon extensive quantitative analysis and a bias for measurement
Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to synthesize and convey complex business concepts effectively
Fast learner with a desire to move with urgency, accountability, and intent
Innovative and creative thinker with the ability to derive best practices with demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
Strong emotional intelligence and the ability quickly build internal and external relationships
Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
MBA from top business school (preferred); bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field required
6+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis
Experience with audit or FP&A
Hands-on experience leading financial analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, strategic planning, and budgeting; and ability to work with financial systems
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
now or in the future.
