The candidate will engage with internal and external clients to fully understand the market, competitive landscape, trends, and business needs. It means our client-facing functions work together to bring the very best solutions and services the firm has to offer — across all of our locations, products, and capabilities.Join us if making your mark on the long-lasting client relationships we build is a challenge you are up for.What You Will Be Responsible ForAs performance & analytics product manager, you will:Understand the marketplace for competitive positioning and drive innovation through new product exploration.Drive Performance & Analytics (P&A) new business process including deal pricing, RFP responses, presentations, and develop sales materials to drive revenue growth.Build and maintain vendor partner relationships and support the vendor management process.Responsible for the full life cycle management of the product suite including design and oversight, product prioritization, business case development and tracking, marketing ROI and decision to replace and/or terminate products.Generate new products by introducing new ideas, enhancing existing products, following the New Business Product Review and Approval Process, modeling product finances and developing sales materials resulting in ultimately revenue growth from the new product creation process.Actively participate in speaking engagements at industry events, promoting our brand through thought leadership.Act as subject matter expert with respect to the product suite and remain close to the customer segment through client interaction to assure satisfaction and relevance of the product to customers evolving needs.Develop key global relationships, both internally and externally, to continue advancement of our product suite.Collaborate with sales, client relationship, and finance during the sales process to deliver high quality and compelling client proposals in order to win new business mandates.Communication of product strategy, including market requirements and opportunities to both internal and external audiences.Engage and partner with all strategic clients sharing industry best practices, staying abreast of client service delivery and satisfaction while understanding if there are opportunities to expand services.Participate in internal sales and product development working groups.What We ValueThese skills will help you succeed in this role:Deep subject matter expertise of the Performance & Analytics products and technologies available in the industry.Strong communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop relationships inside and outside of an organization.Strong investment and analytical background.Ability to conduct effective meetings with clients and prospects and engage in needs identification conversations.Ability to create compelling demonstrations that display our value proposition.Ability to travel for client meetings, industry events or to other State Street locations up to 30% of the time.Education & Preferred QualificationsCFA or CIPM preferred.10+ years of related experience (consulting, investment analytics, solution sales).Performance & analytics background (operations, client service, product).Additional RequirementsPrivate markets experience a plus.Are you the right candidate?
