This position is located in White Plains, NY.What's the role?As a SAP S/4 HANA P2P Solution Consultant, you get to work with an astonishing team that plays a vital role in Carl Zeiss Inc. Showcase your skills and experience with process enhancement in the design and implementation of both functional and technical S/4 HANA solutions within the Purchase to Pay domain across various roll-in projects. The position specializes in optimizing and managing the end-to-end procurement and accounts payable processes using SAP solutions. It is essential for ensuring efficient, cost-effective procurement operations and accurate, timely payment processing. This critical position requires a profound understanding of SAP best practices, the ability to integrate these with auxiliary systems, and the expertise necessary to deliver high-quality solutions that meet complex business and IT demands. The S/4 Hana Purchase to Pay Solution Consultant will be responsible for SAP application design, development, integration, testing and deployment, and SAP application technical architecture. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating development efforts, ensuring compliance with architectural standards, and providing comprehensive support throughout the deployment lifecycle.Sound Interesting?Here's what you'll do:Design and implement comprehensive SAP S/4HANA solutions tailored for the P2P process, ensuring seamless integration with satellite systems based on specified business and IT requirements.Develop and validate technical and functional specifications to align with global template processes and adhere to industry best practices whilst meeting business objectives.Efficiently coordinate and direct development tasks towards global development factories, ensuring projects are completed on time and to high standards.Set up master data, procurement processes, invoice processing, and payment workflows.Integrate with external systems for vendor management, electronic invoicing and payment processing.Facilitate clear and effective communication between development teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project objectives.Provide expert guidance on SAP best practice architectures and technologies, significantly enhancing the capabilities of deployment teams.Continuously evaluate and challenge any deviations from established processes, advocating strongly for standardization to maintain solution integrity.Ensure strict adherence to established architecture principles and standards, maintaining consistent quality across all solutions.Conduct thorough reviews of configuration and functional specification documents, managing the approval process to ensure compliance and accuracy.Support comprehensive testing activities, including the coordination of bug-fixing efforts, to ensure the reliability and performance of deployed solutions.Oversee the preparation and execution of test plans, ensuring they align with project timelines and uphold quality standards.Provide essential support during cutover, migration, and hypercare phases, ensuring smooth transitions and stabilization of the end-to-end P2P process domain.Address and resolve post-implementation issues, facilitating continuous improvement and optimization of deployed solutions.Do you qualify?A minimum of 5 years of experience as a solution consultant or architect in SAP transformation projects, with a focus on the Purchase to Pay (P2P) domain.Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing SAP S/4HANA solutions, including cloud integration and integration with third-party systems.Extensive experience with global template processes, particularly within the P2P domain.A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Relevant professional certifications in SAP or related fields.Exceptional analytical abilities and excellent communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration and problem-solving.Nice to Haves:Advanced degree in a related field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.Additional professional certifications in project management or related fields.Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.Demonstrated expertise in cloud solutions and their integration with SAP S/4HANA.Proficiency in using project management tools and methodologies.We have amazing benefits to support you as an employee at ZEISS!MedicalVisionDental401k MatchingEmployee Assistance ProgramsVacation and sick payThe list goes on!The annual pay range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000.The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, and complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.
