www.amentumcareers.comThe work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; however, various hours may be required based on business demand.Responsibilities:Act as lead and subject matter expert in lab instruments, troubleshooting, and calibration service on laboratory equipment (Freezers, Incubators, etc.), PLCs, and other controls.Perform hands-on technical maintenance in a prompt, effective, and safe manner.Lead the lab instrument technician team and provide expert troubleshooting when needed.Provide oversight and training to new technicians.Calibrate and maintain pharmaceutical laboratory equipment and instrumentation.Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record calibration data.Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Provide regular reports to senior management regarding throughput/performance and projects in laboratories.Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.Perform other duties as assigned by Management.Expectations:Work in a team environment with a friendly, respectful, empathetic, and professional attitude.Balance workload and multiple tasks while focusing on attention to detail.Take initiative to resolve issues independently and shift priorities as needed.Communication:Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.Ability to communicate clearly via phone and in writing.Accurately document electronic and paper cataloging systems.Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.Six years of experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, industrial, or related laboratory environment.Ability to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use.Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.Physical Requirements:Regularly lift to 50 lbs.Regularly climb ladders, steps, and scaffolding.Work at an accelerated pace in emergency conditions.Preferred Requirements:Associate degree or Technical School Certificate for Instrumentation/Electronics.Experience in a GMP or similar regulated environment.ISA level 1 Certification.Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
