UC Berkeley's University Health Services (UHS) is a comprehensive college health service providing fully accredited primary medical care, counseling and psychological services, and innovative health promotion programs for students, faculty, and staff.Responsibilities

Clinical Care:Provides direct patient primary care in accordance with UHS policies.Takes appropriate health history and conducts physical exams.Formulates medical assessments and treatment plans.Integrates patient education into practice.Counsels and provides emotional support to patients.Collaborates with the health care team.Documentation of Practice:Maintains professional standards of documentation.Records patient encounters in the electronic medical record.Charts in a timely fashion.Organizational Responsibilities:Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to patient rights and confidentiality.Maintains an understanding of the social context of health on campus.Implements University and UHS policies and procedures.Required Qualifications

Must have completed a minimum of 3 years of practice as a nurse practitioner in a primary care setting. Organized and able to prioritize workload.Licenses and Certifications

Active State of California RN licenseActive State of California NP Certification in Family Practice or Adult Primary CareNP Furnishing Number and DEA LicenseActive National Board CertificationUp-to-date BLS CertificationSalary & Benefits

The budgeted hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $92.27. This is a per diem position with variable hours.How to Apply
