This position involves strategic planning and coordination of various departments, including ground handling, passenger services, maintenance, and security, to ensure efficient and safe airport operations. You are responsible for liaising with airline partners, regulatory bodies, and government agencies, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and standards. You will also focus on financial management, business development, and customer satisfaction to enhance the airport's reputation and profitability.WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A GENERAL MANAGERYou like working as a team, toward a common goalOversee all operational aspects of the company, including ground handling, customer service, and maintenanceDevelop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfactionManage and lead a diverse team of department heads and supervisorsMonitor operational performance against key performance indicators and objectivesLiaise with airlines, airport authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and effective collaborationDrive business growth through innovative service offerings and strategic partnershipsYou have a great attention to detailYou enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasksLike to build long term relationships with your customersPhysical activity may include:

QualificationsMinimum age of 18 years oldAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents10 years of experience in airport or aviation management, including leadership rolesStrong understanding of aviation regulations, operational safety, and security protocolsProven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and team leadershipExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of the Aviation IndustryComfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tabletsAbility to pass a drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
