has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Nonprofit Program Manager for our wonderful nonprofit climate justice organization in San Francisco, California! This incredible role works hands-on, leading all community engagement programming for the local San Francisco community! This position is for immediate hire and works on-site!The Nonprofit Program Manager will oversee the fellowship program, ensuring its successful implementation and growth. In addition, they will manage all community engagement events and cultivate partnerships to enhance outreach and collaboration efforts.RESPONSIBILITIESFacilitate and maintain training curriculum and educational modules.Oversee and track the progress, participation, and completion of fellowship requirements.Develop and manage resources and opportunities focused on employment and career development for program Ambassadors.Organize and conduct monthly webinars and educational sessions for fellowship participants.Partner with leading companies to create streamlined processes for evaluating and hiring alumni of the program.Create training materials and toolkits to help expand the program.Collaborate with nonprofit staff and organize ribbon-cutting events.Collaborate with organizations involved in policy advocacy.Coordinate event logistics, including inviting speakers, managing media presence, hiring videographers, arranging catering, and planning community education activities.Organize workshops on resilience in partnership with nonprofit staff and relevant organizations.Coordinate "listening tours" to ensure community voices are at the forefront of local policy development and decisions.Serve as a liaison with nonprofit clients to understand their programs and community connections.Manage project timelines and logistics in partnership with nonprofits and community groups.Establish and maintain relationships with advocacy organizations within the areas served by the nonprofit.QUALIFICATIONS3-5 years of experience in managing volunteer programs, engaging with communities, advocating for clean energy policies, and/or coordinating events.Demonstrated dedication to climate and energy justice, with professional experience in advancing a fair and equitable transition to clean energy.Experience in training volunteers, including developing educational curriculum and training materials.Proven success in leading and coordinating event planning activities.Knowledge of and experience with effective community organizing strategies and principles.Strong written and verbal communication skills, both over the phone and in writing.Proficiency in using Salesforce for data management and tracking.Ability to independently manage tasks and meet deadlines effectively.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis wonderful opportunity offers the ability to make a significant impact leading clean energy initiatives and training the next generation of clean energy leaders.
