DescriptionSummaryAs a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for applying data science methods and techniques to various business problems and projects. You will work with large and complex datasets, perform exploratory data analysis, build and evaluate predictive models, and communicate your findings and recommendations to stakeholders. You will also collaborate with other data engineers and domain experts to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance the performance and efficiency of the organization.Benefits include: 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Optional Life & AD&D, Pet insurance, Legal plans, and more. Competitive compensation between $120,000-$135,000.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.A Data Scientist who can apply their skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems and deliver value to our clients.Oversee the design, construction, installation, testing, and maintenance of highly scalable data management systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry practices.You will work with a team of data engineers, analysts, and domain experts to design, develop, and deploy data solutions.You will use various tools and techniques to collect, process, analyze, and visualize large and complex data sets.You will apply machine learning and statistical methods to generate insights, predictions, and recommendations.You will communicate your findings and solutions to stakeholders and customers in a clear and effective manner.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the business objectives and requirements of the projects.Perform data exploration, preprocessing, and feature engineering.Build and maintain machine learning models using various frameworks and libraries.Build and maintain data pipelines ensuring quality and availability.Focus on integrating and operationalizing machine learning models into data pipelines and production systems.Optimize and fine-tune the models to achieve the best cost, performance, and accuracy.Deploy and monitor the models in production environments.Create dashboards and reports to visualize and communicate the results.Document and present the methodologies and outcomes to the team and the clients.Other duties as assigned.This position has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.At least 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or data analytics.Proficient in Python and SQL, and familiar with R, Scala, or other programming languages.Experience with data science and machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as PySpark, Scikit-learn, Pandas, Numpy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.Experience with data visualization tools and libraries, such as Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, etc.Ability to handle big data using distributed systems and technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, PySpark, Hive, etc.Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.Knowledge of machine learning concepts and techniques, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, regression and classification, clustering and dimensionality reduction, etc.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.Excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to explain complex concepts and results to technical and non-technical audiences.Curiosity and passion for finding insights and patterns from data and translating them into actionable and impactful decisions.Strong organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and workflow.Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
