Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists support our Minimally Invasive Diagnostic Center (MIDC). The MIDC provides a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy procedures, pulmonary procedures along with interventional bronchoscopies with a gastroenterology focus. Responsibilities include administering anesthesia and monitoring patients in our outpatient clinical care setting. CRNAs work independently with onsite physician anesthesiologist for backup support.Reasons to work for National Jewish Health:Great work/life balanceMonday-Friday day schedulesNo Call or weekendsCollaborative work environmentMarket competitive compensationExcellent benefitsNJH qualifies for Federal PSLF programQualifications:Colorado RN license.Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist Program.Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.CRNA certification by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).Active BLS and ACLS.PALS highly preferred.Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a CRNA preferred.Position Summary:Collaborating with a physician anesthesiologist, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) autonomously provides general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for both planned and urgent obstetric surgery and obstetric interventions, while also undertaking anesthesia-related tasks.Essential Duties:Evaluates patients preoperatively and formulates and carries out an anesthesia care plan including monitoring and recording patient reaction to anesthesia and modifying the anesthetic plan accordingly.Skilled in the use and maintenance of anesthesia equipment. Skill to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and other hospital employees. Ability to assist with patients who may need ICU ventilators, high-risk intubations and facilitate fiber optic intubations.Skilled in placing and using epidurals for labor analgesia.Excellent communication skills and utilizes a collaborative, team-based model of care.Promotes mission, vision, and values of both National Jewish Health and Intermountain/SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards.Performs other duties as assigned.Competencies:Accountability:

Master’s Degree or higher required from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist Program.Work Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a CRNA.Special Training, Certification or Licensure:

Colorado RN license required. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license required. CRNA certification by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required. Active BLS and ACLS required, PALS preferred.Salary Range:

$192,635 - $242,890 Full Time$145 - $200 per hour PRN$200/hr for commitment of 2 shifts per week.
