This position solves moderately complex problems, works with limited supervision, and should be becoming a subject matter expert at this level.Primary ResponsibilitiesConducts pre- and post-performance analysis that ultimately enhance and improve risk mitigation processes.Measures and compares current processes with identified procedures and policies, monitors processes, and provides management summaries with recommendations for error prevention.Promotes best practices and implements solutions.Leads medium-to-large scale projects and initiatives that may have many internal and external dependencies and higher levels of risk.Assures ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.May create project plans, timelines, critical paths, and milestones.This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED with nine (9) years of quality assurance, audit and/or operational business unit experience.Or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with five (5) years of quality assurance, audit and/or operational business unit experience.PreferencesExperience with project management software (ex: Microsoft Project).Skills and CompetenciesAbility to create highly collaborative and credible relations within all levels of the Bank.Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into application/operational recommendation(s).Advanced critical thinking skills with ability to evaluate alternatives and present solutions.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with project management methodologies.Skilled in managing multiple tasks and projects.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.*This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.*While this position will primarily work offsite, associate must be located within a reasonable driving distance (75 miles or less) of Birmingham, AL /Atlanta, GA/ Nashville, TN/ or Charlotte, NC. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates.Additional job detail for this specific opportunityEstablishes standards, policies, and procedures for achieving technology delivery operational objectives and ensuring compliance.Conducts periodic inspections of software engineering delivery processes to ensure efficient performance.Reviews strategies that impact improved technology delivery operational performance.Builds and maintains working relationships with software engineering teams to maximize compliance with technology standards.Produces periodic reports to update Technology Department and senior leadership on progress of technology delivery operations.Performs technology delivery duties as part of the strategy for enhancing technology delivery services.Serve in lead data steward capacity for Technology – overseeing data-related functions to ensure data quality.Partnering with data stewards to maintain proper governance of data marts.Preferred Skills and CompetenciesAbility to research, analyze data, and derive data-driven solutions.Advanced understanding of the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC).Advanced analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of ITIL, NIST, and FFIEC.Strong priority management skills.Working knowledge of report visualization tools.Compensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
