Assists department colleagues with carrying out efforts to meet objectives on organizational priorities with a focus on departmental contributions to education and certification strategy for the Association. Supports operational needs for appointed and member volunteer groups and APTA leadership. Provides support with compliance documents. Seeks out and supports opportunities for continuous quality improvement in department activities.Essential FunctionsProvides professional oversight and management support for all logistical and administrative duties for credentialing course fulfillmentProvides support to the CCIP’s project initiativesManages and processes invoices for CCIP program (vendors, marketing, finances connected to meetings)Completes forms for CCIP continuing education units (CEUs) reviewMaintains CCIP program policies and procedures manual and websiteManages the logistics of annual Train-the-Trainer Course and APTA conference meetingsLiaisons between APTA and online system program administrators and print vendorImplements work plans related to respective activities of the Certifications department specific to the CCIP program which align with organizational priorities and the Association’s education and certification strategyContributes to and implements recommendations on advancing operations within the department specific to the CCIP to gain efficiencies, and grow revenue, if applicableContributes to quality assurance and continuous quality/performance improvement for CCIP activities, including supporting manager, department director, and unit leader in annual assessments of respective budget activitiesSupports the Education team in the implementation of the Association’s programs, priorities, and projects in partnership with department director and staff colleaguesPrepares, in consultation with the manager and director department level data which supports and aligns with the APTA data strategyStaff ExpectationsUpholds and fosters team valuesComplies with all APTA policies and proceduresPerforms other duties as assigned to foster achievement of association prioritiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferredPT or PTA status preferred3+ years’ experience working in a nonprofit, association or business settingStrong computer/database experience requiredAbility to communicate effectively - verbal and writtenExperience in certifications or credentialing programs preferredProject management skills a plusExperience in entering and handling data accurately in a variety of systems/programsExcellent organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritizeSome business or finance experience preferredTravel Requirements0 - 5% - local, NationalHow To ApplyPlease send resume and cover letter, including salary requirements, when applying.Principals only; no agencies; no phone calls, please.
