We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll leader to join our company. As a leader in this role, you will handle overall operations of US payroll using both the Workday suite of tools, ADP, and third-party payroll providers. In doing so, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll with strong data integrity. This is a great opportunity to help set a strategic direction for scale as the business grows. This position will have an emphasis on delivering a best-in-class employee payroll experience.Overseeing the day-to-day payroll operation to ensure that payroll is processed and paid in compliance with all Federal, State, possession or other jurisdictions tax and labor law requirements.Remain compliance and work closely with HR Operations on items including but not limited to; collective bargaining agreements, qualified retirement & other offerings including union, 401(k) and ESOP, ESPP. Mobility related items such as relocation expenses, per diems, other traveling and relocation activities.Provide long-term strategy for the organization as to the growth and development of payroll platforms and team.Maintain the payroll systems and software, and work to develop and create future systems and processes for greater efficiencies throughout payroll.Collaborate with HR Operations to assure accurate data (e.g. review and verify payroll data before processing by ADP and prior to disbursement), streamline processes, identify integration opportunities.Perform monthly payroll close duties, including the preparation of period-end accruals and monthly journal entries for all payroll and benefits, including preparation of reconciliations of payroll accounts and generate payroll-related reports for FP&A, Finance and HR Operations.Provide formal and ad-hoc analysis of payroll, benefits, time & attendance, etc.Continuously identify and develop solutions for process efficiency to improve productivity.Out of cycle/ad hoc payments of employees and production and issuance of manual checks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.Support the quarterly and annual Financial Statement review and audit, 401k audit, Workers Comp audit, and other audits as required.Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters.Manage annual preparation and delivery of Form W-2s and 1099’s.Develop, implement, and maintain SOX controls in payroll processes. Conduct regular reviews of payroll processes to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance.What you need:

Minimum 10 years of payroll, tax, accounting experience in a U.S. public company, preferably at a high-growth company. Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, GSuite products and SAP (preferred).Working level knowledge of ADP Payroll, Workday and Replicon.Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.Strong knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and regulations, including tax.Experience with Payroll system implementation / transformation projects.Ability to operate independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Bonus Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field.
