MC-12 pilots support and facilitate airborne training for Tactical Systems Operators (TSO) in accordance with the requirements outlined in AFMAN112TSOv1 and the TSO Qualification Training (QT) Syllabus of Instruction (SOI). MC-12 aircrew perform mission planning, mission pre-briefs, sortie execution, mission debriefs and post-mission documentation.Duties include but are not limited to:

Provide qualified MC-12W/BE-300 ISR variant pilots to fly scheduled sorties in accordance with the TSO Qualification Training (QT) syllabus and Cryptologic Training (CT) program.Participate in Scenario Development with instructors and OPFOR. Contractor mission aircrew shall role-play notional air or ground entities per each scenario.Use air traffic control services and radio calls during instruction that are in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration Order 7110.65 AA published 5 October 2023 or subsequent updates.Ensure all aircrew personnel are fully qualified and maintain qualification/currency requirements throughout contract performance.Ensure sufficient on-site contractor instructors and evaluators are available to maintain aircrew qualification/currency requirements throughout contract performance. The contractor may request Government support with instruction and evaluations; however, Government support shall be provided at the sole discretion of the Government.Minimum Qualifications:

A current FAA Class II physical for pilots or military equivalent for Sensor Operators/CSOs.DCMA 8210.1D requires that initial/periodic qualification and currency training be conducted in accordance with Service Guidance. Service Guidance for this contract includes Air Force Manuals (AFMANs) 11-202V1/V2/V3, 11-2FTV1/V2/V3 or any guidance that supersedes these publications due to renaming, renumbering, or obsolescence, as directed by the GFR. Qualification and currency training types required by this contract include:Pilots. Instrument (INSTM)/Qualification (QUAL).Instrument Refresher Course (IRC).AFMAN11-2FTV1/2/3 define core training, currency, evaluation, and operations guidance for the contractor aircrew.Currency training can be conducted on the aircraft on a non-interference basis with TSO training. Additionally, the contractor will be allotted sorties, as needed, for pilot proficiency, training, and evaluations as required by the DCMA 8210.1D.Current FAA Commercial Pilot or higher certificate and the appropriate category and class ratings.Current and qualified as an Aircraft Commander (AC) in the MC-12W or qualified as Pilot In Command (PIC) BE-300 or similar type aircraft and the following conditions are met prior to personnel onboarding:BE-300 type-rating and Proline 21 differences certification.1000 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours (all aircraft flown) and 300 hours in similar type aircraft.Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operational flight experience. MC-12W/BE-300 ISR variant pilot crossflow among all service branches is allowed as long as ISR requirements are met.Qualified MC-12W pilots possessing an FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with instrument rating or an ATP with 100 hours in type may fulfill Second In Command (SIC) requirements while operating with a qualified PIC who meets the pilot requirements listed above; however, a waiver to DCMA 8210.1D co-pilot hours requirement is required. The Contractor shall author and coordinate the waiver through the GFR who will forward to the appropriate waiver authority IAW DCMA 8210.1D for consideration.Current 11-2FTV1 guidance in Table 4 requires simulator refresher training every 365 days for pilots. Pilots not current on this requirement may be hired onto this contract but will be approved on a case-by-case basis by the GFR.
