Boston, MA .We encourage you to learn more about our opportunity below if you are an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a women's health background or Certified Nurse Midwife who is interested in working in an evidence-based, collegial environment with all the advantages of an academic practice.Why join our team:We offer high-quality patient care in an urban, academic setting, including prenatal care, pelvic exams, ultrasound, family planning, in-office procedures (LEEP, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, and endometrial biopsy), and more. All surgeries and deliveries are performed at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.Tufts Medical Center is the tertiary center for the Tufts Medicine System which also includes MelroseWakefield Healthcare and Lowell General Hospital. Clinical time related to this position will primarily occur at Tufts OBGYN in Boston. The physicians spend time in the office and also the inpatient units at Tufts Medical Center.How you'll transform patient care:Join a well-established, growing OB/GYN group.Develop longitudinal relationships with your patients.Meet your patient's needs with same day or routinely scheduled appointments.Be proactive in your care approach with preventative medicine.Grow as a clinician as you learn from new colleagues.Work cross-functionally with various members of our community and stakeholders.Be a valuable member of the care team alongside physician colleagues.Join and contribute to a work environment that is flexible and in-tune with the desires of a modern workforce that values work/life balance.Embrace one of our most fundamental values of active engagement within our communities.Who you are:Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife program.Current license as a Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.Current certification in CPR required.Prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner in women's health or Certified Nurse Midwife preferred.A team player who is excited to work cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines.Experience managing both obstetrical and gynecologic patients.Experience with long-acting reversible contraception placement/management.Experience with procedures including endometrial biopsy and vulvar biopsy.Willingness and excitement for teaching residents and students.Work, Live, and Grow:We strive to maintain an inclusive work environment for all our employees.
