The AVP, Infusion Systems will be responsible for leading and running a newly formed U.S. Infusion Pump Sales Organization under the Infusion Therapies & Technologies Division. Responsible for developing the strategy and execution of ~$150 million dollars in annual revenue with ensuring business profitability and market growth. Leading a multifaceted organization consisting of Field Sales Representatives, Clinical Sales Representatives, Software Sellers, and Healthcare Solutions Executives.Direct responsibility for the U.S. geography, the AVP will develop/implement short- and long-term strategies that optimize profitability growth to the business aligned to the corporate strategy. The ability to work closely with various internal Sales, Marketing, Operations, Legal, Finance, Sales Training, and Medical Affairs in both a direct and matrix environment is a requirement. Tight-knit collaboration with other Baxter businesses and the Corporate IDN organization is a requirement.The ideal candidate will have a track record of achievement in building successful teams that create balanced sales growth as well as a demonstrated ability to empower and encourage large teams.Critical Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies that protect, maintain and grow the business.Achieve the annual sales and pre-tax profit expectations and handle expenses.Apply qualitative and quantitative data to develop short- and long-range forecasts and budgets.Effectively build and manage relationships with internal and external customers.Effective deployment of human and financial resources.Build an impactful diverse organization with a cohesive team of leaders through selection, development, motivation, mentoring, counseling, and empowerment.Define and implement sales/contracting incentive programs that motivate the field teams to achieve their business targets and improve participation.Provide support to the development of sales/management training programs that enable staff to realize their full potential in delivering business targets.Ensure alignment with legal, commercial operations, marketing and finance.Exceed customer expectations leading to a high level of customer happiness.Lead key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.Key Qualifications

High financial competence and previous P&L experience required.Ability to promote Baxter Culture through positive ongoing customer relations and compliance with all company policies and procedures.Effective administrator who efficiently manages time, resources and workload.Comfortable leading through ambiguity and delivering results.Outstanding interpersonal and partnership skills including engaging people and leading positive change.Leadership experience launching and/or using sales automation and CRM tools.Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.10+ years experience required, 5+ years of sales management experience preferred.Proven medical device sales experience in leading large organizations to meet/exceed business plans.We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated base salary for this position is $224,000 - $308,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and long-term incentive.
