Job SummaryAs a member of the North America Human Resources Senior Leadership team reporting to the Head of HR in the region, the Director of Total Rewards is responsible for driving and overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the company's total rewards programs. This encompasses all aspects of compensation, benefits, and other benefits (e.g. wellness, relocation, etc.). This role is expected to design, implement and govern a competitive market solution for North America. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of HR and business objectives. As a COE function, this role will actively partner with HR Business Partners to effectively craft total rewards solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business.Job ResponsibilitiesStrategic Workforce Planning: Define job architecture, position management and workforce planning policies and guidelines.Compensation and Internal Mobility Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Oversee the design and administration of salary structures, incentives, bonus programs and internal mobility policy and administration.Benefits Planning and Administration: Design and manage employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other fringe benefits. Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Executive Compensation: Develop and manage executive compensation programs including long-term incentive programs ensuring competitiveness and alignment with company objectives.Performance Management: Align compensation and rewards with pay for performance philosophy, fostering a high-performance culture.Communication and Education: Develop change and communication strategies to effectively communicate total rewards programs to employees.Compliance and Governance: Stay abreast of laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits to ensure that the company's total rewards programs comply with legal requirements and industry standards.Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, such as benefits providers and compensation consultants, negotiate contracts and ensure that vendors deliver quality services.Collaboration: Collaborate with other HR functions, Finance, and Senior Leadership to align total rewards strategies with overall business goals.Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update total rewards programs to remain competitive and meet the evolving needs of the organization and its workforce.Associate Development: Lead and coach total rewards associates through assigning challenging work and projects, coaching to improve performance and establishing a strong team culture.QualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field; master's degree (MBA, MHRM, or similar) is preferred.Extensive total rewards experience (15+ years minimum) in a related industry, with a proven track record of leadership and success in building effective compensation and benefits programs.Demonstrated people management skills (5+ years minimum) that encourages associate development, assign responsibilities to best achieve team goals and promotes a positive working environment.Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction, navigate complex business environments and build strong relationships with stakeholders.Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to assess and interpret data related to compensation and benefits.Effective project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor the implementation of total rewards initiatives.In-depth understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and manage change.Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and delivering within budget and schedule.Salary $200,000-$231,000.Benefits SummaryHealth, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug plansLife and Accidental Death & Dismemberment InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountEmployee Assistance Program401K with 4% company matchBonus ProgramWellness ProgramOnsite Fitness Center (vary by location)Tuition ReimbursementCareer Development and Ongoing TrainingPaid holidays and vacationCafeteria and food markets (vary by location)Volunteer opportunitiesEmployee recognition (employee and milestone events)
