The Senior Director, Treasury, leads the development and execution of Oscar’s treasury strategy and policies including the management of the corporate investment portfolio and treasury operations. This role is a key leadership role within the Finance and Treasury organizations and has exposure to senior leaders across the organization. The Senior Director, Treasury is responsible for the management and development of a team of Treasury professionals, ensuring the right talent is in the right places to execute against the global Treasury strategy.You will report to the Vice President, FP&A.Work Location:Oscar is a blended work culture where everyone, regardless of work type or location, feels connected to their teammates, our culture and our mission. If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office (in Hudson Square), our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Dr), or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey), you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week. Otherwise, this is a remote/work-from-home role. Note, this list of states is subject to change.Pay Transparency:The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $192,000 - $252,000 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $172,800 - $226,800 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program, company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the Treasury strategic plan - including managing debt/equity targets and liquidity profile - aligned with company’s overall strategy and goalsManage the corporate investment portfolio, set the investment strategy in accordance with corporate investment policy, and partner with 3rd party asset managers to execute investment strategyLead treasury operations, identifying ways to improve operational efficiency while implementing plans to increase treasury effectivenessPartner with the Balance Sheet management team to develop longer term capital and liquidity strategy, ensure monitoring and reporting of key treasury metricsManage relationships with external banking partners and serve as point of contact for both commercial and investment banksManage all debt covenant reportingCoach, support, and lead the professional development of your direct reports facilitate a culture of continuous improvementCompliance with all applicable laws and regulationsOther duties as assignedQualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent work experience12+ years experience in treasury or investment banking7+ years of experience distilling complex ideas and financial models into clear messages5+ years of experience developing strategy and influencing senior leadersBonus Points

Prior experience in insurance, healthcare or financial services industryMBA or similar advanced degreeStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to drive actionable resultsAbility to work effectively and efficiently in fast-paced and dynamic environmentExcellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skillsActive Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) credential
