The Director of Financial Planning will lead responsibility for the financial planning experience for Rockland Trust's Investment Management clients. The areas of oversight will include investment planning, retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, and protection planning. The DFP will work with the Relationship Management (RM) team to ensure current key clients in IMG receive a financial plan. The DFP will be a part of the value-added services Rockland Trust's Investment Management Group (IMG) alongside our tax services, insurance services, and private banking teams. The DFP will also be responsible for training the Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Financial Consultants, and other RTC colleagues about the various individual modules as well as the comprehensive planning services we can provide. The DFP will design the fee schedule for the services provided within IMG.

Skills:Deep knowledge of Financial Planning and its importance in a comprehensive wealth management service offering. Practical experience in both implementing plans as well as leading a financial planning practice. Broad knowledge of investments, estate planning, tax, and insurance. An understanding of the compliance and regulations pertaining to providing Financial Planning services in a Fiduciary/Bank environment.
