Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for Licensed Security Command Center OfficersDurham, N. Carolina$18.00 - $20.00 p/hrThis is a rotating schedule with 3 days on and 4 days off - 12 Hour Shift Schedule7am-7pm*This position requires a Minimum of one year in a command center/dispatch settingMust have an Active NC Security LicenseThis position oversees the daily security operations of a 24/7 Central Command Center, safeguarding the assets of the facility, employees and guests. Qualifications:Responsibilities:Monitor emails and phone correspondence to requests and inquiries appropriatelyMonitor CCTV camera systemsOperate facility badging software, including enabling and disabling badgesMake periodic patrols of the facility to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized personsRestrict access into confidential areas throughout the facility and officesAdminister all client policies for controlling access to client propertyReport security violations and provide guidance to support staff to properly resolve issuesUtilize internal communications systems including radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems, and computer-based software with a high level of professionalismRespond appropriately to facility alarmsPrevent vandalism, thefts or other criminal behaviorProvide security support for various client projects and eventsAccurately complete and retain reporting documentation and logsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentNC State Security LicenseNC Driver's LicenseStrong computer and/or technology skillStrong attention to detailEffective commicator- written and spoken communciation skillsAbility to multitask and deal with competing prioritiesProfessional demeanor and problem solving skillsExperience executing radio and telephone communicationsProven experience working as a dispatcher, cell center representative and/or security command center operator#DUR
