Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.Additional pay when working evening/night shiftsWe are seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care)! Ebenezer Ridges Care Center highlights a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Adult Day Programs, Intergenerational Child Care, Long Term Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. We are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN. Come join our team of dedicated employees who share in our mission to help our seniors heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more significant lives.Responsibilities/Job Description:Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lightsNursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitals AM/PM cares; including peri care and catheter careMay turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistanceObserves residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise mannerChart or document in electronic medical record systemSeeks to resolve resident and family concernsReceives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shiftOther duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely manner
Qualifications:Required:Active as Nursing Assistant, Registered (NAR) on the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry by start date OR- Individual who is hired into Ebenezers Nursing Assistant Course orEbenezers Pre-CNA job for Nursing Assistants; will be granted a 4-month post hire to become active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.)
Preferred:Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric populationCommunicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkersExperience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident AssistantWork experience in a customer service setting
