Title: Vice President, Fixed Income Bond Trading Solutions

The Position

Looking for an engaging and innovative leadership role? This is an opportunity for you! This role requires a well-rounded professional with strong operating, innovative, interpersonal and strategic leadership experience. As a part of the Asset Management Compliance, Risk and Business Operations (CRBO) Fixed Income Investment Services team, we provide high-touch operational support to the Fixed Income Division.

Reporting to the Head of Investment Services, this role will lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive electronic trading product strategy with close partnership with our technology organization. Own the content and liaising process between business and technology to gather functional business requirements for the development of all bond trading products and enhance business value derived from implementation, execution and evolution of business capabilities for the bond trading product.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Strong leadership with 12-15 years history of delivering on operational excellence, risk mitigation, and execution of major programs that achieve positive, measurable results
  • Strong understanding of the fixed income markets, bond trading, and technology ecosystem
  • Leadership of ground-breaking business initiatives where technology is fundamental to the underlying operations, growth and client service
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working across an organization with key business partners
Role Overview:
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key partners to deliver solutions that provide our customers with transparency, outstanding execution quality and institutional grade execution tools
  • Identify and partner with technology to complete strategic opportunities in electronic trading space
  • Monitor, analyze and produce thought leadership related to the fixed income s bond market trading structure, regulatory landscape, leading technology innovations and developments
Business Leadership:
  • Set bond trading strategic direction with senior leadership: Understand the evolution of the industry, customers, business partners, competitive influences and markets, with a focus on the sector and required investment levels
  • Lead internal and external product-related business relationships.
  • Act as a single point of accountability, and ensure effective governance processes are established
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Find opportunities and lead business partnership with technology, trading, compliance, operations, and risk to deliver on sophisticated electronic execution tools, products and service solutions
  • Perform analysis to decompose and detail existing business concepts, process flows, data elements definitions and calculations to ensure effective product development
  • Lead and champion the business approach, bond trading products and applications within Fixed Income
  • Identify any contending or conflicting business / technology requirements and partner to risk assess and resolve
