Dev Technology Group seeks talented rising juniors and seniors for our Summer 2025 Internship Program. Interns will be based out of our headquarters in Reston, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking professional experience in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, AI integration, and product development.
What You'll Be Doing:
Dev interns will work on a dynamic project in support of a government client, corporate operations, or research and development. This is an opportunity to improve software development, AI, and data outcomes and observe and participate in many aspects of an Agile software development project. Interns will also work on a technical intern project with the rest of the internship team.Practice Agile methodology by attending all Scrum-related meetings, such as daily stand-ups, weekly sprint planning, and weekly retrosDevelop solutions using modern data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning practicesAnalyze data and create visualizations to recognize meaningful trends in large datasetsPerform various lean-agile investigation methods, including root-cause analysisDevelop software in support of various data and AI objectivesUse a variety of modern software toolingWork with fellow Summer Interns on a technically focused project and present the groups' results to the executive team at the end of the program. Past projects have included creating a mentorship web application and planning a hack-a-thonWrite and maintain user guide documentationRequired Skills and Experience:
Rising juniors and seniors working toward a bachelor's degree in Computational Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Computer Science with a focus on AIExperience with Python, Jupyter Notebook, and associated data science librariesThe ability to work independently and in a team with developers providing guidance and supportA desire to learn new skills, including self-study if neededThe ability to follow through on tasks to completionTrue enjoyment of technology, data, and the desire to contribute to a team's outputCompleted coursework in Java, Python, or other object-oriented, typed languageThe ability to read through existing code with the support of a senior developerMust be able to commute to the Reston, Virginia office 2 days a weekPreferred Skills and Experience:
Rising senior (strongly preferred)Experience with implementing AI solutions using cloud-based or cloud-native toolsExperience with data cleansingExperience with data architecture concepts and designExperience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.Who We Are
