About The Role
Our growing financial institution is seeking a Personal Banker to be an integral part of our Okanogan Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with a variety of banking needs. Working for Wheatland Bank is a challenging and rewarding career for the best and brightest bankers.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Open various new accounts, process necessary information and educate the customers as to services/products available as a result (e.g., Visa check card, online banking, automated teller, etc.).Assist with a wide variety of customer services including opening/closing Shared Certificates, maintaining Safe Deposit Boxes, assisting customers with checkbooks, processing credit card/loan applications, managing outgoing wires, solving fraud issues, notary services, closing accounts, etc.Explain and expedite the opening, closing, transfer, and rollover of IRA certificates.Assist customers with opening Certificate of Deposits (CD) and educate customers about penalties, earnings, etc.Provide backup to tellers upon request.Set up auto transfers and sign up customers for ACH transfers and wires.
