Senior Restaurant Manager

The restaurant in the Trident has dining rooms on two floors, seasonal patio seating, a bar, and a large private event room. We’re looking for an energetic, flexible, and experienced manager to join our team and help grow the restaurant. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader, master of multi-tasking, proactive problem-solver, and customer service savant.
Experience with staff management, quality control, and menu development preferred.
Flexible schedule (including night, weekend, and holiday availability) required.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs, and carry large food trays for extensive periods of time.

ServSafe certification will be provided if not already certified.
Responsibilities include:
Cafe Leadership:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all cafe operations, staff needs, and customer experiences to ensure the successful day-to-day operation of the cafe.
Staffing & Training:
Develop weekly schedules for all FOH cafe staff, oversee all aspects of the hiring and training process, and monitor employee performance, holding all team members accountable for the Steps of Service and regularly providing feedback and discipline as needed.
Operations:
Oversee the opening and closing procedures, monitor and troubleshoot equipment performance, serve as BOH liaison, and contribute to the inventory and ordering process.
Menu Development:
Collaborate with the kitchen manager and events team to create new menu items, introduce seasonal or themed specials, and explore food and beverage trends.
Online Platforms:
Serve as a Toast (POS) super user to optimize internal workflow and the customer ordering experience, update hours and offerings on reservation and delivery platforms as needed, manage upcoming reservations and customer feedback.
