www.greystar.com .JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager of Accounting to oversee our employee compensation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific experience in managing payroll, benefits, and other compensation-related activities. This role requires excellent analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.JOB DESCRIPTIONKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the development of compensation budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support senior management in decision making.Analyze compensation data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Oversee compensation information for each department, manage expense allocations, and prepare/review standard monthly journal entries.Implement, administer, and maintain compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and benefits packages.Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of payroll and compensation data to ensure accuracy and integrity.Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to align compensation strategies with organizational goals.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of compensation-related activities.Other projects, as assigned.BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on compensation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION:Corporate Positions:
