Summary:Genesys is growing and the Global Field Sales & Marketing Finance team is looking for an accomplished Manager with finance, accounting, incentive compensation, and teamwork skills who can thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial organization. This role’s primary responsibilities include managing and forecasting the Sales and Marketing commissions budget, partnering with Accounting and the Incentive Compensation team to analyze and improve the organizational incentive structure, and providing business insights to our CFO and CSO.

Responsibilities:

Partner with business leaders in Finance, Accounting, Incentive Compensation, Sales, and Marketing to drive business growth.

Own and manage the Global Field Sales & Marketing commission and channel referral budgets and forecasts.

Enhance visibility around key incentive and commission metrics including earned commission rates, attainment, and participation.

Work closely with Accounting and Incentive Compensation to assess the success and ROI of Sales and Marketing incentive structures.

Deliver data-driven variance analyses and management reporting to Corporate FP&A and the CSO.

Play a critical path role in a team-wide effort across Global Field Sales & Marketing Finance to automate management reporting in Excel and to move other management reporting into dashboards for self-service by the Genesys Executive Leadership Team.

Identify opportunities to improve our quarterly forecast accuracy and institute the steps needed to see those improvements through to actual results.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or related fields.

5+ years of experience with financial analysis or strategic finance and solving problems with data.

An ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and functional leaders.

An ability to build and maintain high-quality decision tools, reports, templates, and ad-hoc models in Excel.

Systems and data visualization experience (NetSuite, Tableau, Oracle EPM Cloud, Salesforce, Power Query, Power Pivot, SQL, etc.).

An enthusiastic approach to getting things done that make a difference.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts in a succinct, straightforward way.

Capably deal with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.

Demonstrate an Ownership mentality.

Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $84,250.00 - $165,350.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
