The Business Technology Office supports our Multifamily Division enabling and redefining Freddie Mac's business. We are part of the Digital Transformation initiative that applies all the newest technologies and tools allowing developers to deliver code efficiently and optimally. We provide systems and technology that benefit the enterprise, customers, employees and our business partners.Your Impact:

Appreciate working with various team members to distill sophisticated solutions into manageable partitions of work that become deliverables for your team; influencing, communicating, designing and driving vision.

You will be a champion driving full (and accurate) adoption of modern software engineering & Delivery practices (Real Agile, TDD, ATDD, Stateless Design, Microservices, Containerization, etc.).

Demonstrate your leadership, coaching and mentoring skills to help teams mature into impactful teams.

Develop individual growth at the company by leading other developers to help them improve as contributors while they progress along their career path.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.

8-10+ years of proven experience engineering exciting solutions and 4-5 years leading modernized development teams.

Languages: Java 8, Angular, Unix Shell scripting, node.js, SQL, Python.

2+ years experience managing and growing talent.

Modern Tools: Jenkins, Cucumber, Selenium, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git, Maven, Gradle.

DBs: SQL, Mongo, (Legacy DB2/Sybase for transformation efforts), Oracle, PostgreSQL.

Other: Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Microservices, EKS, Junit, Tomcat.

Frameworks: Spring Integration, Spring Web, Spring Data Mongo DB.

Cloud: AWS, Azure, Google.

You’ve got the full stack covered with all key modern languages under your belt.

Shown success coaching and transforming technical teams to shift to a modern execution model.

site.This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $153,000 - $229,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
