Our scientists push boundaries in large language models, code generation, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and beyond to invent creative solutions. You will invent, implement, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning solutions at Amazon scale, having a direct impact on revolutionary products used by millions. You will make breakthroughs that challenge the limits of AI and machine learning while collaborating with leading academics and interacting directly with customers to bring new research rapidly to production.AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design- First author publications at top-tier ML conferences (ICLR, ICML, NeurIPS, ACL, EMNLP)Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,200/year in our highest geographic market.
