The ideal candidate will have strong client interaction skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record in business generation and problem-solving.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload involving family law issues, including marital property disputes, custody battles, divorce, separation, and spousal and child support matters.Handle commercial litigation cases, including arbitration and mediation, as needed.Provide strategic legal counsel and representation to clients, ensuring effective case management and resolution.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Represent clients in court and various legal proceedings, advocating effectively on their behalf.Engage in mediation and arbitration processes to resolve disputes outside of court.Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.Contribute to business development efforts, including generating new client opportunities and expanding the firm's client base.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law and commercial litigation.Proven experience in managing complex family law cases and commercial litigation matters.Strong client interaction skills and a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional legal service.Skills:Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Advanced problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.Proficiency in legal research, writing, and case management.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize effectively.Aptitude for business generation and client development.Education and Certifications:JD degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Maryland State Bar.Benefits Offered:Complete benefits package.
