Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Technical Trainer Lead / Learning and Development Specialist to lead and manage our training initiatives in a

variable hour capacity , focusing on Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Power Platform. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs and onboarding initiatives that help both technical and non-technical teams integrate AI companions into their daily workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and deliver high-quality training programs on Microsoft technologies, including M365 Copilot, Microsoft Power Platform components, and AI tools. Tailor content to meet the specific needs of different employee groups and contracts.Create training materials such as presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, hands-on labs, and case studies. Leverage real-world examples and user personas to illustrate practical applications of AI companions.Conduct training sessions in various formats, including in-person, virtual, and blended environments. Facilitate interactive discussions, workshops, and Q&A sessions to address employee concerns and promote continuous learning.Regularly update and maintain training and video libraries. Ensure content reflects the latest updates and best practices for Microsoft Copilot and AI integration.Develop and implement onboarding programs to help employees adopt AI-driven tools and workflows. Provide ongoing support and coaching to ensure continued proficiency.Assess the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and feedback. Analyze outcomes and make data-driven improvements to enhance the learning experience.Partner with IT, HR, and department heads to identify training needs and customize programs accordingly. Ensure all training materials align with business project objectives and timelines.Act as a change agent to promote the adoption of AI tools across the organization. Develop strategies to address resistance and ensure a smooth transition to new technologies.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in education, Learning & Development, Information Technology, or a related field is

required .7+ years of related experience in technical training, instructional design, and curriculum development, particularly in a federal contracting and professional services environment.Certifications below are

required :Relevant Microsoft CertificationsAzure Fundamentals (AZ 900)Power Platform FundamentalsSecurity, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite, including Teams, PowerPoint, and e-learning tools.Early adopter of Microsoft 365 Copilot.Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.Proven experience in managing training content libraries and using learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Additional Requirements :

Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and requirements across multiple contracts.Stay current with emerging trends in Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI tools to continuously refine training strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $60.00 to $69.60 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
