Job Summary:The HRBP will play a pivotal role in establishing the HR function to the highest standards of professional excellence, reflecting the vision, culture and strategy of the business. Key to this role will be supporting the design and development of a comprehensive talent strategy in order to attract and develop the knowledge, skills and experience needed to deliver the growth for the site in Ireland. The HRBP will be responsible for helping to shape and influence the local HR strategy in the design and delivery of specific programs and interventions to meet with the needs of the business. Working closely with the HR team in China and business leaders in Ireland, the role will provide critical and expert guidance/support to the various business units in Ireland.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesKey member of the local site HR team for WuXi Biologics Ireland. Will play an integral role in the local HR strategy and implementation process, ensuring cross functional collaboration and execution as appropriate.The role will require liaison with counterparts and business leaders in WuXi Biologics corporate to include the highest level of professional representation of the local site Human Resources organisation.Support the design, development and establishment of the HR function, ensuring alignment with the vision, culture and strategy of the business.Support the design and implement ‘best-in-class’ HR programs and initiatives as needed to support the HR strategy and local business goals.Work closely with the HR team in China in order to ensure input and alignment between global and local HR strategy and processes.Lead and support as required the development and implementation of ‘best practice’ HR policies, procedures and related processes/documentation (including both local and corporate HR requirements).Responsible for providing expert HR guidance/support to business leaders, for example in the following key areas: talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition, employee relations, employment law compliance and employee engagement etc.Support the implementation of the site headcount talent strategy and related recruitment plan. Work closely with business leaders to develop a comprehensive understanding/deliver on the resource needs of the business. Support the recruitment process including job evaluation and interviewing while working closely with COE Talent Acquisition.Provide guidance and direction to the business to ensure consistent, equal and fair treatment of all employees. Consult with managers to ensure the consistent application of and adherence to company policies and procedures.Coach and consult with business leaders on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organisation effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps.Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives in order to address issues that will enhance overall performance and build the overall human resource capability of the organisation.Responsible for timely monthly reporting on key HR metrics/deliverables.Lead and demonstrate corporate social responsibility through both corporate and local initiatives. Assist with planning and organising employee engagement activities and events.Support the management of HR administration of all employee documentation including administration of HR processes associated with employee information and performance management.Ensure all HR record-keeping is maintained to meet all legislative and policy requirements.Manage HR metrics and KPI measurements and associated reporting.Act in accordance with the company’s values/behaviours and to the corporate code of ethics.Compliance to all site Environmental, Health and Safety requirements, training and regulations.Compliance to all local site company policies, procedures and corporate policies.Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents.Flexibility to take on additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the HR Director.Will act as a role model for the HR function and also the wider organisation in adherence to the WuXi corporate core values and PROUD culture.Person SpecificationTechnical CompetenciesIdeally, experienced in establishing a HR function and large scale recruitment campaign in a ‘greenfield’ context of similar size and scale.Extensive experience of HR processes and systems in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.Experienced in a range of HR disciplines including talent & leadership development, performance and engagement, succession planning, reward, organisational effectiveness and global mobility.Demonstrable ability to influence senior managers, build strong relationships and drive a local/regional and global HR strategy.ExperienceStrong level of experience in Human Resource Management with a well-rounded exposure to all areas of this discipline, including organisation design, recruitment & selection, talent development, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement and HR policies and processes.Proven experience in driving functional and cross function team excellence/business performance.Must have a proven track record in a senior HR/leadership capacity within a fast paced commercially focused manufacturing facility ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.Experience gained within a highly regulated multinational manufacturing environment desired.Experience in business planning, budgeting and reporting advantageous.KnowledgeMust have extensive experience/knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources including local employment law legislation and HR best practice.Significant expertise in HR systems and processes.International/global HR best practice knowledge and experience desired.QualificationsDegree qualified in Human Resources or other relevant education with a masters qualification being beneficial.Behavioural CompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organisation.Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.Results oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a short period of time.Excellent organisational and planning skills and strong attention to detail.Previous experience of working in a high volume regulated manufacturing environment advantageous.
