Perform statistical analysis on solar and climate data.Be part of educational programs involving students and citizen scientists.Apply machine learning to solve heliophysics problems.Write papers reporting progress and sharing results with community.Write grant proposals to secure further funding.Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Program in Python to develop data processing and analysis routines.Meet regularly to discuss progress and integrate with the rest of the team.Write scientific papers.Present results in professional conferences.Requirements:
Requires a PhD in Physics, Heliophysics, or Geophysics.1 year of post-PhD experience working with data (i.e., heliophysics or geophysics preferred).Special Requirements:
Work assignment is in Boulder, Colorado. This is a 1-year limited term assignment.Job Locations:
Boulder, ColoradoSalary Range:
