Join our mission of crafting world class data experiences with them, for them.As a Design Researcher, you'll help improve user experiences and product success through rapid usability testing and Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives. You’ll work across functions and stakeholder groups, contributing your deep knowledge of the User Research process to guide product direction toward successful outcomes for our users and our business. Design and conduct rapid usability testing, including test planning, participant recruitment, moderation, and analysis, to identify user pain points and areas for improvement.Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate user insights into the development cycle.Lead Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives by gathering and analyzing user feedback from diverse sources.Facilitate workshops to translate research findings into actionable recommendations.Support non-research team members in conducting and documenting their own research projects, ensuring consistency, best practices, and easy access.Foster and maintain a community of customers who participate in research studies.Help maintain and expand a centralized research repository to document findings, methodologies, and insights.Qualifications

3+ years conducting research in a fast-paced product development environment.Experience managing stakeholder relationships.Experience iterating on organization-level programs (building from the ground-up is a bonus!).Work samples that showcase your research experience and approach.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and influence product and design decisions.Understanding human-centered design and product development.Perks and benefits

Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 2 years’ experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research, or related area.4 years' experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research, or related area.Preferred Qualifications

Driving product development in a design research area, Market Research, Business Analysis, UX Design Research, or related area.Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area.Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare).Research or design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate).Knowledge of accessibility best practices and joining us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.Primary Location
