Forvis Mazars is seeking a dedicated Audit Senior Manager to work with our growing Financial Services Practice. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited about the opportunity to help build a financial services practice, we are looking for you! Forvis Mazars' firmwide industry-leading experts and vast resources would be fully available to support these local growth efforts.How you will contribute:Work with financial institutions of various sizesBuild relationships with local financial institution trade organizationsAssist in managing, developing, and coaching professional staffReview detailed audit engagement proceduresAdequately identify audit risks and problems through review to ensure audit engagements are completed with defendable files and documentationConsistently identify engagement and operating opportunities for improvement and provide timely solutions and consultationManage multiple concurrent engagements without disruption and within scheduled deadlinesProvide staff with timely performance feedbackManage multiple client relationships, billings, and resource needsBuild personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunitiesLead audit committee meetings presentationsParticipate in speaking and article-writing opportunitiesComplete required Continued Professional Education hoursTravel to serve clients as necessaryWe are looking for people with Forward Vision and:An aptitude to recruit and develop firm associates and team membersTeam and engagement management skillsInnovative ideas for servicing clienteleCommunication skills to effectively relate to people of diverse backgrounds and experience levels both verbally and in writingProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAn ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment to reach clear-set goalsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldAt least 7 years of relevant audit experienceCPA LicenseExperience managing multiple complex client engagementsExperience with both public and closely held financial institutions
