The ideal candidate will have a robust research program that focuses on the immunology of the developing nervous system and/or neuroinflammatory disorders in children.Successful applicants will have earned a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD, completed a minimum of two years of postdoctoral training, and demonstrated a track record of successful extramurally funded research or a strong potential of developing innovative research programs that attract extramural funding. Candidates must have a strong commitment to diversity and advancing understanding and outcomes for underrepresented groups.The selected candidate will join a collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic group of investigators with neurological and neurodevelopmental research interests. Prospective faculty members can draw from an outstanding and diverse pool of graduate and MD/PhD students from KSOM and USC to grow their research program. TSRI supports research administration, a robust postdoctoral training office, education and professional development activities, and a successful intramural research awards program for pre- and postdoctoral fellows, junior faculty, team science, and second R01s.The annual base salary range for this position is $81,811-$517,500. An integrated clinic space for the Divisions of Neurology and Neurosurgery opened in the Spring of 2021.
