Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and drive growth through proactive prospecting and lead generation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the creative marketing industry. This role presents an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting:
Identify and research potential key decision-makers within the creative and tech industries.Develop targeted prospect lists and execute outbound campaigns to generate qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team.Utilize various channels, including phone, email, social media, and networking events, to engage prospects and initiate conversations about our staffing and consulting services.2. Qualified Leads Generation:
Qualify contacts as decision-makers of our services.Pitch our services and benefits of meeting with one of our VPs of Sales.Overcome objections of potential clients.3. Collaboration with Sales Team:
Develop effective strategies for the acquisition of new accounts and the further penetration of existing accounts.Stay informed of industry trends and market conditions in order to have more relevant and substantial sales pitches.Confirm and follow up on all meetings booked.4. Meeting and Exceeding Monthly and Quarterly Sales Targets:
Generate meetings for VPs of Sales which lead to job orders.Continuously optimize outreach methods and messaging to improve conversion rates.Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline status, and activities.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.Experience in and/or strong interest in a sales or business development role, with a passion for the creative marketing, technology or gaming space.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence prospects effectively.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business results.Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) preferred.Knowledge of creative marketing trends, digital media platforms, and emerging technologies is a plus.
Salary:
$60,000 - $65,000 (based on experience). Comprehensive benefits, PTO package, and 401K also included.
