Job SummaryThe role is that of business partner to the Drive Systems (TRACTION) executive team and other stakeholders, offering strategic financial insight into business decisions to drive top line growth and performance, financial management, new business initiatives and related outputs that are focused on sustainable and profitable business growth.Job DescriptionManage Ongoing Revenue AnalyticsLead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting requirements in accordance with approved deadlinesDerive insights from reports on trends of the Traction BU and patterns to influence key business decisionsEnsure data integrity and consistency of information presentedManage and drive robust and accurate product costing that drives growth and assists with deal closingDrive revenue management and lead investment decisionsCreate financial models that assist business leaders to make appropriate revenue generating and management decisionsManage the Budgeting Cycle, Adherence to Budgets and ForecastingLead the production of key business drivers for use in strategic planning, annual budgeting, and monthly and quarterly forecastingKeep all stakeholders informed of their approved budgets and assist with expense management to adhere to approved budgetsAssist departments that require improvement in accuracy of forecastingAlign with and assist with S&OP forecasting to reduce cost inefficienciesEnsure that the finance team is aligned to the deadlines and drive accuracy of inputsManage the day-to-day accounting functions to ensure accuracy and proactive problem solving to effectively manage cash flowDrive Continuous Improvement in all Finance ProcessesReview all processes to identify bottlenecks and backlogs that affect business performanceImplement process improvements at every process stage where necessaryEnsure appropriate change management with new processes or process improvements throughout the TRACTION business if necessaryEnsure stress testing of new processes before implementation to manage any risks to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closingBusiness Partnering to Influence BusinessLead and facilitate stakeholder financial decision makingPartner with Sales, Product, Engineering and Plant leaders to influence their decision-making ensuring alignment to the TRACTION strategy and financial targetsAssist the leaders with financial strategies to drive growth and the execution of thereofLeading and Managing PeopleInculcate a culture of high performance through implementing robust performance managementEnsure all team members have performance contracts aligned to the Traction strategy for the financial yearEnsure performance feedback is given regularly and performance coaching is in place to close gapsCreate a culture of continuous learning by ensuring all team members have individual development plansImplement day to day tracking of actions to encourage responsiveness and adherence to quality and quantity standards for Traction BUREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEProficiency in accounting softwareStrong aptitude for mathExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical skillsExceptional knowledge of accounting principlesHigh attention to detailAbility to prioritize and align task list accordinglyExceptional understanding of material, production and supply chain system and cost impactStrong ability to work independently and drive resultsAbility to influence at all management levelsAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional matrix structureAction OrientedExcellent relevant IT skills and technology drivenExcellent leadership and management skillsPREFERREDManufacturing Accounting experienceTravelTravel is expected - 15%.Education and QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance15 years relevant experienceRange: 125K-170K DOE
