Summary:

The Front Desk Agent is the first person who greets guests when they walk into the hotel. They are responsible for distributing room keys, registering guests, verifying reservations, and helping guests with any questions or complaints.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet and register guests in a friendly mannerAssist in taking reservations, pre-registrations, and room blockingAssist large groups upon arrivalAssist guests in finding dining, shopping, and other "hidden gems" nearbyBe the first to handle and resolve guest issuesProcess payments according to procedureUpsell additional facilities and servicesPerforms all check-out tasksEnsure all cash, checks, and credit card balances at the end of each shiftAnswer questions and cater to any guests needsCommunicate internally with other departments when necessary to resolve a guest concern or requestAdditional tasks may be assigned at any given timeRequirements

Qualifications:

High school Diploma or equivalentHotel Front Desk experience preferredExperience with hotel reservations softwareExperience with Microsoft WindowsOutgoing and friendly demeanor, and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure complete guest satisfactionPositive, upbeat demeanorExcellent communication and organizational skillsTeam-orientedAbility to stand for 8 hours at a timeAbility to lift 20 lbs. on occasionBenefits:
