Senior SQL Server Database Developer
to support the Naval Health Research Center in San Diego, California.The Senior SQL Server Database Developer responsibilities will include:Install, configure, and maintain SQL database instances and objects.Provide subject matter expertise for NHRC applications, queries, and databases.Capture user requirements for systems/solutions development and deployment; develop functional specifications and work with cross functional teams to deliver solutions.Work closely with users to understand business process workflows, identify pain-points and inefficiencies and proactively propose solutions and tools, as well as conduct pilots and develop prototypes.Migrate legacy applications to modern standards, adhering to NHRC data standards.Create and maintain appropriate documentation related to programming tasks.Enforce change management and compliance processes.Develop, maintain, upgrade and deploy local applications using .NET programming language.Qualifications and Education Requirements:Clearance:
Minimum SECRET clearanceEducation:
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferredExperience:
Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database creation, maintenance, troubleshooting, software development, storing procedures, synonyms, indexing, and performance tuning, as well as database migration, and experience with .NET, C++, C#, F#, Visual Basic and Python.Qualified candidates may submit their resume to the career section of our company website at
