This OpportunityWSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time New Grad Civil Engineer to work out of our San Diego, CA office. Be involved in projects with our Federal Programs Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.Your Impact• Complete training on assigned tasks.• Perform Civil 3D/AutoCAD related assignments.• Perform additional civil site engineering responsibilities as required by business needs.• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.Who You AreRequired Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering• 0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.• Prior internship experience, leadership experience, or relevant coursework.• Successful completion of Hydrology/Hydraulics course taken during Junior/Senior year.• Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and working knowledge of FlowMaster or any other related Hydraulics/Hydrology Software.• Passed, appeared or registered to take the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.• Ability to be a productive team member; as well as ability to work independently.• Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.• The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.• Willingness of upholding workplace safety and the ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.Preferred Qualifications• Recent college graduate or slated to graduate by May 2025 from an accredited Civil Engineering, or related, Undergraduate or Graduate program.• The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of internship experience in Civil Engineering.• Some experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and related softwares.WSP Benefits:WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
