About Team / RoleWEX is seeking an intermediate level Rebates Analyst. This role is responsible for meeting contractual obligations and paying several million dollars of rebates each month to various relationships timely, thus attention to detail and time-management is essential. Ability to focus on customer service and retention while reducing risk and maximizing profits.How you'll make an impactMonitor/Triage Shared Mailbox and answer Intermediate QuestionsEnter/Audit Intermediate Level Contract Entries (Flat or tiered volume rebate and/or basic early payment rebate)Create/Audit Intermediate Rebate Calculations (mid-complex automated and manual rebates)Effective & timely execution of rebate calculations via Excel and pertinent ancillary credit posting, electronic payment preparation or check request.Reconcile accounts for rebates earned and paidProvide various reporting needs as required both internally and externally, primarily leveraging Excel.Interpretation and implementation of contract language related to incentives provided to fleet customers within a structured platform.Complete and accurate audit review of both rebate implementations and rebate calculations to assure 99.9% + qualification and accuracy.Utilize knowledge of data and processes to adequately handle questions.Pull data from various systems and applications.Participates in continuous improvement projects that are both process and efficiency driven.Back up for SAS Code monitoring and enhancements.Experience you'll bringBachelor's degree, 2-4 years' work experience in a business field (accounting, auditing, finance)Computer software literacy (Google, Excel pivot tables and V-look-up, Word)Unquestioned integrity and honestyAbility to effectively communicateStrong team building skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while being extremely detail-oriented under strict deadlinesStrong orientation towards high volume, fast paced, time sensitive business operationAnalytical and problem solving skillsFlexible/Adaptable to changeAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to multitaskMust pass a successful background investigationIntermediate Excel skillsSAS Code Experience is preferredAccount reconciliation and auditing skillsAccounting knowledgeThe base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
