This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.As a Sr. Real Estate Insurance Compliance Analyst, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by handling the administration, analysis, and compliance monitoring of real property insurance coverages, for our mortgage loan portfolio. You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of approximately 17 people in the Investment division. Your colleagues will include fellow real estate commercial loan servicing and insurance administration professionals.How you'll help move us forward:Negotiate the compliance of real property insurance coverages for all loans serviced by Pacific Life.Monitor casualty claims and administration for serviced mortgage portfolios.Monitoring and reporting of insurance coverages, deficiencies, risk exposures and catastrophic event exposure.Administer insurance casualty claims.Customer service related to insurance matters including impound and forced placement administration.Determines/negotiates insurance provisions/requirements for new PL loans.Act as liaison between borrower's insurance contact and Pacific Life's closing department for the compliance review of insurance coverages and requirements for new PL loans.Manage placement of PL's mortgage impairment, forced place and Real Estate Equity (property and liability insurance coverages.Provide technical, research, and application support for MLSS-related projects.Provide support for various reporting, audit and compliance requirements.The experience you bring:5-7 years working experience in commercial property insurance administration.Experience in commercial loan servicing, and/or asset/property managementStrong knowledge of Excel and Word, and the ability to quickly learn new program applicationsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and to meet deadlines under pressure.Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skillsStrong logical and analytical skills (ability to research, identify issues and problem solve)Self-starter who can work independently and demonstrate initiativeWhat makes you stand out:Undergraduate (four year) degree with a concentration in business preferred.Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of loan documents and concepts, and property insurance.Provide strong analytical and organizational skills.Display the ability to be detail oriented and to work well under deadline pressures.Demonstrate ability to provide excellent written and verbal communication skills including but not limited to strong customer service skills.Proficiency in software applications for real estate investment analysis including Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and the ability to quickly learn new program applications.You can be who you are.People come first here. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
