to join our national firm in one of our Midwest offices locations. This position requires an experienced Transaction Advisory Services professional with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills. Our growing TAS practice provides tremendous career opportunities. We are committed to practicing work/life balance and offer extremely competitive salary and benefit packages.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage multiple and challenging transaction advisory engagements (financial due diligence), working with cross-functional teamsSource projects and develop leads to originate engagementsAnalyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, and working capital considerationsDeliver high-quality, detailed financial analysis to enable clients to make informed decisions regarding transactionsAnalyze trends in operating results and working capitalDevelop agendas and lead meetings with target managementPrepare tailored written reports and supporting Excel schedulesCoordinate with other service lines involved in the engagementOversee project completion within budgetSupervise, train and evaluate staff on engagementsManage the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leadersMaintain regular communications with the engagement team and client regarding project status and potential deal issues as they ariseParticipate in public speaking, article writing, and other thought leadership activities in the field of transaction advisory servicesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related discipline8+ years of relevant experience in delivering financial advisory, transaction advisory, or similar servicesCPA or related certification (CFA, etc.)Demonstrated experience managing and supervising teams through complex transactionsExcellent problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skillsExcellent technical accounting and reporting capabilitiesExperience interacting directly with senior client personnelAbility to work effectively and efficiently under the pressure of transaction deadlinesAbility to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslyWillingness to travel as requiredAdvanced MS Excel skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office applicationsExcellent business acumenSelf-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
