$76,000 - $81,000The Role:

The Business Analyst Associate is responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to drive actionable insights and help stakeholders make informed decisions related to operations and revenue. The Business Analyst Associate will play a primary role in supporting projects across multiple functions with data-related needs. This role will act as a liaison for the Business Operations team and business line owners in pursuit of monitoring KPIs, anticipating future results and future business planning. They will collaborate with property, retail, engagement, and finance teams to identify opportunities for reporting needs, process improvements, ensure data integrity and help build overall organizational data fluency improvements.Essential FunctionsPartner across operations and finance to support multiple business lines including public programs, education, admissions, retail, and private events and other enterprise operations.Provide direct support, working in a consultative role to property and business operations teams and in conjunction with finance and marketing.Develop annual, monthly, and weekly analytical plans to monitor lead and lag measures to assess business performance results and the impact of local market issues on statewide business performance.Identify optimal stakeholders, cadence, content, and formats.Analyze and synthesize public program participant and visitation survey data into actionable insights and share implications with property and business operations colleagues.Analyze market performance for weekly, monthly, and annual results.Maintaining dashboards: Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards to support operations functions, pulling in data from multiple sources including Powerplan, Shopify, Campbrain, ACME, Ventek, and CRM.Uncover key drivers of results and recommend actions to maximize results.Create and deploy customized surveys to consumers to better understand public recreation needs and product and service consumption habits to enable the development of successful strategies to drive business results.Conduct external market analysis for existing or new business ideas.Benchmark competitive pricing and internal data to make recommendations on pricing for goods and services as assigned.Establish baseline margins for key lines of business and develop a process for target setting and ongoing monitoring.Qualifications3 - 5 years of related work experience.Minimum level of education: high school diploma or GED, bachelor's degree preferred.Knowledge of Shopify, Microsoft Excel, Office, PowerPoint required.Knowledge of Power BI or other data analytics required.The Trustees offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team across the Commonwealth who love the outdoors, who love the distinctive charms of New England, and who believe in celebrating and protecting our special places, for everyone, forever.The Trustees is a proud equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any protected status including, but not limited to, age, race, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual preferences, nation of origin, religion, or disability status and strongly encourages applications from people of color, persons with varying abilities, women, and LGBTQ+ applicants.
