Your next big adventure awaits!Position Summary:As a Workers Compensation Nurse Case Manager, the employee will be responsible for managing and coordinating the care of injured employees throughout the workers' compensation process at designated client site(s). The role will involve ensuring work-related injuries are sent to designated providers to assess injuries and develop care plans, advocating for optimal treatment, and ensuring timely and efficient communication between all stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of employees while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This is a meaningful role that requires a results-focused individual who can liaise with our greater operations, EMTs, clinical, and client success teams, to deliver high-quality service to Work Health Solutions’ clients.Provide a "white glove" experience by delivering exceptional customer service onsite. Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and attentiveness to ensure employees feel supported and cared for.Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical data, identifying trends, and implementing interventions to enhance patient care processes.Collaborate with healthcare providers, employers, and insurance carriers to coordinate medical care and facilitate a smooth recovery process.Advocate for injured employees to receive timely and appropriate medical treatment while ensuring compliance with workers' compensation guidelines.Educate employees about their rights and responsibilities under workers' compensation laws and provide ongoing support throughout their recovery.Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions, assessments, and care plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.Facilitate clear and timely communication between all parties involved, including regular updates to employers and insurance carriers on the status of cases.Prioritize safety and efficiency by meticulously adhering to protocols and procedures.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, regularly inspect, and restock equipment, and ensure strict adherence to confidentiality guidelines.Strive for excellence in infection control, hygiene practices, and overall safety measures when onsite at designated location(s).Provide first aid level care when on-site, track on-site injury and illness data with proprietary software, and maintain compliance with OSHA standards.Participate in monthly auditing meetings to discuss open work comp claims, injury trends, and any cases that need additional assistance with Clinical Operations and client teams.Communicate with various departments (IT, Supply Chain, Client Success, Solutions) to coordinate services, resolve operational problems, and improve quality of service to exceed client expectations.Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).Formulate and carry out operational objectives to implement company strategic goals.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsEducation, Skills, and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) requiredPrevious experience in an occupational healthcare setting and management of worker’s compensation claimsStrong technical working knowledge of EHRs, MS Office/365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, etc.), Project Management Software (Monday.com, Asana), HRIS Software (Paylocity), and Time & Labor Management recordkeeping.Required Licenses/Certifications:Current and active RN license in Tennessee and Mississippi.Additional certifications specific to the practice area may be required or preferred.Schedule:Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
