With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This opportunity entails creating valuable and memorable experiences for clients and other stakeholders linked to HNTB’s Southeast Division industry organizations, along with developing and managing industry engagement opportunities for division and office leadership.What You’ll Do:Ensures external events portray the HNTB brand in the best possible light.Maintains partnerships with key industry organizations, vendors and host client agencies.Collaborates with external partners and client staff to discover value, develop trusted relationships and deliver highly sophisticated events.Creates detailed event plans that include venue, timelines, budgets, catering, transportation, accommodations, and other event details to ensure seamless implementation.Sources, evaluates, and negotiates with partners on all aspects of creating and carrying out successful events.Maintains regular communication with HNTB’s Industry Engagement Director and others as appropriate, proactively sharing event information and recommending any improvements needed.Supports the Industry Engagement Director, Chair of Professional Services and others as appropriate to develop annual budgets for external events.Performs other duties as assigned.What You’ll Need:Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or relevant field and 8 years of relevant experience; corporate, non-profit, or agency event planning experience.In lieu of degree, 12 years of related experienceWhat You’ll Bring:Experience with Microsoft OfficeExperience in event operations and management, on-site activations and integrated communicationsAbility to work in a team and communicate effectivelyA keen interest in client engagement, learning and staying current on transportation technologiesWhat We're Looking ForAt HNTB, you can create a career that is meaningful to you while building communities that matter to all of us.
