Gateway will help you get a certification by reimbursing for all costs, and provides a growth path for employees to advance.Perks of working in correctional healthcare:Opportunity to make a positive impact on a marginalized populationExposure to diverse patient demographicsFocus on driving change, tracking progress, and improving careDevelopment of skills in a unique healthcare settingThe Program Director is Responsible for:Works onsite at the Johnson State PrisonOversees the integration of clinical services and milieu management to support program goals.Acts as a liaison between several facilities to integrate various programs and services.Audits, monitors, and evaluates assigned program services and results to ensure compliance.Oversees client services by auditing client records and reviewing discharge plans.Develops program budget projections and monitors expenditures.Prepares reports on financial status and program results.Assists management in developing and refining program policies and procedures.Manages and leads assigned personnel to promote commitment to the organization philosophy.Responsible for quality control of the program and services.Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social sciences, criminal justice, public health, or administrationTwo years of administrative duties experience in a treatment setting, including supervisory experiencePreferred certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalentAdvanced knowledge of health administration regulations and standardsStrong leadership and project management skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to walk and move about the facilitiesAbility to communicate with others and present information.Ability to use a keyboard and video display terminal.Work Environment:Works in a correctional facilityCompensation (based on experience and credentials):Range is between $65,000.00 - $75,116.00Sign on Bonus of $10,000 available for this positionBenefits at Gateway Foundation:Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependentsEmployee wellness program promoting health and fitnessEmployee assistance programs focused on mental healthFlexibility and Time Off:18 paid time off days per year9 paid company holidaysPersonal Development:Training & Development ProgramsTuition Reimbursement - up to $5,250 per calendar yearGateway Foundation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Nearest Major Market:
