Description
The Account Sales Trainee (AST) function role supports sales initiatives and provides coverage for ASMs during vacation, sickness or any special projects as needed. Route Relief will work with management to maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising and operations for all large & small formatted "off premise" stores.
Responsibilities:Train with Account Managers and cover their routes as needed.Operates truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.Maintains signed invoices, bills, and other required paperwork, delivers documentation to appropriate staff when delivery is complete.Monitor competitor activities including new product launches and price reductions.Achieve monthly KPI's for: sales, distribution, pricing, display, new accounts, and merchandisingMaintain a high level of communication across the team.Ensure all Red Bull equipment is clean and in good working order.Build and protect the Red Bull brand.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong problem solving and mathematical skills.Ability to prioritize tasks.Strong sense of urgency and commitment.Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Must hold a clear commercial driver's license or be able to get one within 60 days of hire.Clear background and drug testing.Prior sales experience preferred.Knowledge of the beverage market preferred.Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift and move 50 lbs. including lifting over your head.Ability to push/pull with use of dolly up to 50 pounds.Prolonged periods of sitting while drivingAbility to stand and walk frequently.Employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.Employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Compensation/Benefits:
