responsible for SEC financial reporting. Under the supervision of our Director of SEC Reporting, you will be responsible for assisting with the financial reporting for our Corporate business unit, as well as global financial consolidation. All work will be performed in support of our corporate accounting financial operations including special projects related to properly recording financial transactions. Accomplishes accounting requirements by recommending and maintaining accounting processes, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable; conducting & reviewing bank reconciliations and closing processes; ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP).Establishes financial condition by preparing financial reconciliations, supporting schedules and inter-company monthly reconciliations between business units.Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Assist with footnote disclosures and financial statement preparation for Forms 10-K and 10-Q.Assist in maintaining strong SOX control environment within all performed functions.Assist with managing the global financial consolidation function using OneStream.Assist with the systems and security administration of the OneStream financial system.Assist with quarterly and year-end audit requests from external auditors.Assist with special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required, including financial and individual account analysis.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.3+ years of experience in Accounting.A strong understanding of accounting fundamentals required.Experience with publicly-held, manufacturing facilities or external audit a plus.Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) experience a plus.Experience with publicly held, manufacturing operations a plus.Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management both written and verbal.Proficient with Excel and Word.Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.Methode Electronics is an equal opportunity employer.
